CAMOOWEAL TO MOUNT ISA

Left Camooweal on Monday 8th and made our way to Mount Isa.   We were still having trouble with our car fridge so called into Evakool agent in Mount Isa.  He changed the fuse on the fridge to a cut off switch and removed another fuse he said was unnecessary, but the fridge still did not work properly.  So decided it was not the fridge at fault but the power going to it.   Went to an auto electrician in town, he had a look at it and booked us in to have the wiring checked out.
We originally only booked into the Riverview Caravan Park for three days but had to extend that to one week to have the work done on the Prado.    We also had to get an inspection certificate on the Prado for registration which posed no problem.  
We finally got the fridge working after returning to the auto electrician three times.   They had run a stronger wire from the anderson plug direct to the battery for our solar panels on the Prado, but we had to return firstly for a blown fuse that we did not know existed and then for dirty battery terminals.
At last we have the fridge working perfectly and were able to leave Mount Isa at last on Monday morning 15th Oct. and made our way to Fountain Springs Rest Area.
