The ground has toilets, a hot shower, 12 power sites and plenty of taps for water. By the time evening came there must have been about 30 vans there. The cost is a donation of $5.00 per night.
We set up camp, had a walk around, then went into Morven to do a bit of shopping. Morven is not a very big town with only a few shops and the usual Pub.
The next day we set up the ozpig and cooked chicken and savoury rice on it for tea. About 3.30pm a van came around the campground selling fresh fruit and vegetables, which we thought was very enterprising. We were told earlier in the day that a man in the park had a guitar and around 4pm he was going to have a concert around a campfire in front of his van, so we went along and had l 1/2 hours of Australian country music. Quite a few campers came along and he put on a good show.
We met a few nice people and really enjoyed this camp spot.
