MANNERING PARK TO PORT MACQUARIE
We left home at 8.30am on Saturday and headed up to Port Macquarie, fortunately the weather was fine and the trafic light.   We arrived in Port and 12.30pm.    We had booked into the Acquatic Caravan Park in Hastings River Drive just 5 minutes from town and only 2 minutes walking distance from Mario and Rhonda's.     The park is quite small with few caravan sites but quite a few cabins and semi permanent vans.    All the ammentities and very clean and the area well maintained.    It is a quiet park and at $25.00 per night very reasonable.    I would certainly recommend it.
We have spent the last couple of days catching up with Mario, Rhonda and Maria, which has been very pleasant.
Today Mario and Rhonda drove us out to Riccardo's tomatoes and strawberrys.   This is a farm where you can pick your own strawberrys and they were very nice.    Also bought some chocolate sauce to eat with them, YUM.
On Tuesday morning we head off up the Oxley Highway to a free camp called Dumeresq Dam.   We are intending to stay there a couple of days, but will update you when we arrive.
